After a day in the yard, a little bit of fig and citrus really hits the spot. Now, I can add my own menthol, and sometimes I do, but I wonder, does Frank ever put menthol right into his soap? Sometimes just a wee bit of chill is so welcome.

I also have it in the stick format, which you might like for the purposes of adding to the shave. However, I do find that mints dominate a scent, so maybe not a good idea?
The ETHOS First Lather Cooling may be just what you need Bouki. It's from the Custom Collection, and it is like the plain, unscented version, but with cooling agent added. I'm glad to have it.

It's only Menthol, water, glycerin, and polysorbate. Simple and works quite well. I just put a drop or two into the lather and mix it up. I think I paid $5 for a bottle that'll last a loooong time (1oz, which according to Google is ~480 drops).

Hello Bouki
The only soaps I make with a chill to them is the Peppermint which is the strongest, Greenfresh which is 2nd but different as one comes from Peppermint which is stronger than Spearmint and the Fresco has just a very slight touch of Spearmint. I did make Lost Souls and King of the North that has a lite cooling sensation to them. As some said and I agree with is to have a Cooling First Lather around when you want that bit of chill to your shave. I find that if using cooling drops like my Ice Dragon which depends highly on Menthol they can sometimes easily change a somewhat mild scented soap like Ravello where it looses all its special nuances ( fig ) for example where’s as I don’t get that from the Cooling First lather. I’m very excited about the Mixology Collection and being able to add some cooling Shave soaps into a mix like Lavender and Peppermint and Grapefruit ( Melange ) and Peppermint as they work so well together. I’m going to be making some special for Micology only shave soaps and some may have some cooling effects to them like a Eucalyptus for example.
On another note… love my Fig! An thank you for sharing!
