It’s not smoky.  This Smokeberry to my nose is much the same.  Like taking the capo off the neck of a guitar, the song is the same, just in a lower register.  The berry is the star, the smoke is in the background keeping the tune in the pocket.  Very nice. Thanks Dan.

A favorite of mine and on my 2nd tub. Made a couple hours away from my home. Nice description but you always do have a way with words !

Clay Face
Honolulu, Hawaii
Stella Alpina (Saponificio Varesino) balsam eucalyptus
Shave 33

That’s one hundred shaves with the Blackland Vector Ti. I’ve had it for only a year. That’s surely the fastest I’ve hit the century mark with any razor except my first, of course. What’s made the Vector so popular with me? It’s light and nimble, and that makes it easy to focus on hitting the hair and letting the hide be.

And what of today’s soap? This box of Stella Alpina has been with me since 2016. It’s time to give it some Lenten love. Let’s see how many shaves I can get out of it between now and Easter.
