Fjellheim (Fitjar Islands) juniper

It looks like Fitjar February is coming early this year. Yesterday’s shave with Slåtterøy was so fine, I had to try another Fitjar scent today. They describe Fjellheim as a roll in the juniper bushes as you make your way over the mountain. And to be sure, it smells just like sweet, sappy juniper with nothing else added.

HoosierShave, please tell me your stainless steel Overlander with the Tech handle is a no good, downright rotten shaver … otherwise, I may just have to get one for myself.

Oh, it's terrible my friend!  It's one of those razors that has the "ghost" blade.  You just never know whether you loaded a blade or not.  And then, after checking to make sure its loaded, you proceed with the shave but, lo and behold, you have no need to use the alum block or styptic pencil.  I mean, come on, those are just sitting there waiting to be used but, noooooo, this razor doesn't need them.  And where's the redness and irritation...you know, that feeling that says you had a great close shave!  Worst purchase ever   

(and being a glutton for punishment, i'm wondering if any other razor will get used in 2024 )
