About 4 years back I bought a few pucks of Geo F Trumpers pucks off of Nero.  These were potassium palmate soaps that lather great and smell even better.  I like using them and don’t use them enough.  It’s also sort of sad because a once great soap is now relegated through reformulation into an expensive facade of a shaving soap.  Old Trumpers was/is awesome and classic.  Modern Trumpers may be worse than shaving with Zest.  This puck is Violet and smells awesome.

Jeeves of Hudson Turkish Bath [Barbershop]

This maker was a veteran, and produced soaps years ago. I don't know what his recipe was - I do know it has a nice portion of tallow in it. It makes a creamy, low profile, slick lather and the scent on this is niiiice. I scrambled about 5 years ago trying to find him and some more of these pux. Not successful. I have two left in this flavor. The base I find very similar to Mike's.
