What soap/cream did you use today?

Fantastic scent on this one!  I primarily pick up the jasmine and leather off the puck

I'm borrowing a page from Dave in KY's playbook for today's shave.  The Featherweight is actually my favorite GEM razor.  Together with the more modern but not so recent Wholly Kaw King of Oud, it delivered a splendid shave.  It really doesn't get any better than this.  ...

No aftershave blooming of the puck today, just a thin veil of hot water as Saponificio Varesino recommends. The lather came out fine, and the bitter note that was bugging me is fading. But smells are not what's on my mind today. Following Dave in KY’s lead, I focused on my technique, trying to get the angle and pressure just right, so I can get the best out of my Blackbird Lite. All that attention led to a good, clean one-pass shave. But I can't help but wonder if my Gem Jr wouldn't have done just as well. That's something I may just have to test tomorrow.
