I polished off the Spiced Lime, so Black Watch is next.   Great scent!

Every time I see your photos. I think of the opening lyrics of Lighthouse, by James Taylor:

Off the coast of Africa
Bound for South America
A world away from here
Is a ship that sails the sea
And a man who's just like me
And I wish that I was there.

Thanks again Nero.
Ah…You brought a song to mind I’ve not thought of in years.  The Gorilla album is a good one and my daughter who is much to young to have remembered 1975 still sings it.  Lighthouse, with those tight harmonies of Crosby and Nash behind JT is choice.
I'm glad the post did something good for you Matt.  Along the same lines, when our kids were little, part of the bedtime routine was for dad to tuck them in and sing them a lullaby.  The "James Taylor Song" - aka "You Can Close Your Eyes" - was one of their favorites.  FWIW Gorilla is a favorite of mine too, and I also particularly like his live performances, Live at the Beacon Theater, and One Man Band (@ Colonial Theater).

Clay Face

Manna di Sicilia (Saponificio Varesino) bitter woods
Shave 8 ・ 143 g left

“Manna di Sicilia” is the sweet sap extracted from the ash tree commonly found in Sicily. The branches and trunk of the ash are slashed, and then the sap drips out forming long crystalline sticks of manna. This is pulverized and employed in traditional Sicilian cookery. For instance, manna is used in making almond biscotti. Saponificio Varesino, however, doesn’t stop with the kitchen. It claims that manna also deeply moisturizes and softens the skin after shaving. Does it work? I’ll be honest. This soap leaves my skin feeling dry at first. But in a few hours all the waxes and butters and oils in the soap start kicking in. My skin feels better and better as the day passes. The scent? Well, we’ll talk about that tomorrow.

Whiterook, congratulations on finishing Sea Spice Lime! That’s a great smelling soap, but Black Watch may be even better. The only thing is, Black Watch is so soft. Mine’s nearly a cream. It's taken me a while to get used to it, but I'm sure you'll enjoy it. I wish you many happy shaves with it!

REM JT doing his over dubs and backups prior to concerts in order to capture the acoustics of the venue. Was quite novel experiencing it the first time. .
