My issue with 90% of the Rose puxs available is they have to much noise in them, often synthetics. Results are disastrous, leading men to think of grandma and a ladies bed bath& beyond soap.

I will buy that dried up AOS jar from you. Seriously.

dominicr:   Yes, I have tried Kentucky Rain Dom, and I was immediately impressed.  The first line of my notes from my first KR shave reads "Very nice lather & lovely scent".  And for the benefit of the uninitiated, the KR label reads - in large capital letters - "ROSE, BOURBON & LEATHER".  So Granny?  Maybe the coolest granny in the world; otherwise, no.   Masculine? Definitely!

I sure miss the Fine bard pucks and American Blend is a good one.  Grateful I’ve got several scents of pucks to last a long time.  I’ve tried only one of the new soft tubs and the scent is marvelous but the performance isn’t up to the standards of of the old pucks

The label on this little jar of soap says Martin de Candre has been around since 1974. Although that year wasn't my favorite, it did bring one highlight – the twenty-episode run of “Kolchak: The Night Stalker.” For those unfamiliar, the TV series followed a Chicago reporter investigating supernatural tales like werewolves, zombies, and swamp monsters. I relished its eerie charm as a pre-teen. Decades later, it still entertains with its combination of corny humor and eldritch themes. I figure it will take me about five months to work my way through every episode, and that’s just about how long it will take me to bore through these sixty grams of soap.
