This evening I’ve got some heavyweight meetings so sandalwood was an obvious choice. My thought was to splash on some Santal Auster before I head out the door but I’m thinking I’ll forgo a wonderful continuation for this wonderful scent and I’ll spray some Black Tie Black velvet instead.

Kind of a scary shave. (But not really. I knew we'd be fine.)

I had the Gillette Platinum blade on probably shave #9.... Not sure why, I always switch after 3-4.

Blade installed in a Blackbird SS.

I loaded the brush from this one-inch sample jar.

But still ended up with a great shave.

Btw, from the jar, the scent reminded me of Robitussin! Thankfully, it was nothing like that on the face.

Speaking of face, mine feels great! Excellent formula.

Robitussin would have been a disaster

Snaps to Sascoman for featuring the Feather ProGuard blade in his recent postings. I ordered a pack and gave them a whirl in my Vector. What a fine shaving experience. The ProGuards are nearly as sharp as the Feather Pros, but the guard gives just enough protection for a happy shave. And they’re not as tuggy as the Feather SoftGuards.

Halloween Shave - late post

I save this puck for holidays as I love it so. Great lather and scent pairs with CD Prive Mitzah.

Newbie in soap
South Korea
(This post was last modified: 11-02-2023, 11:12 AM by Shaver_Brian.)

Razor - Razorock Wunderbar
Balde - Dorco Prime
Soap, PS, AS - Terry's Soap HP&S Soap, Pre-shave Oil, After-shave Splash
Brush - Semogue 2000
EDT - Salvatore Ferragamo Acqua Essenziale Blu

This set is proudly made in South Korea.

In South Korea, there aren't any artisans who make shave products except two guys.

One of them is Terry, who actively makes products.

The scent from this set is inspired by Dior Sauvage and it smells amazing. My nose is dancing to this scent.

The most remarkable thing is that this soap offers some degree of freedom on how much water to add or not.

Accordingly, when I lather, I can get either thick lather for better protection or thin lather for better slickness, which depends on my taste.

Either of them has amazing density.

I really hope that you guys could also have an opportunity to experience these in the near future.

Have a great shave to you all!!
