Monet (Abbate y La Mantia) water lily
Shave 5 ・ 134 g left

The soap smells like water lilies, but there’s Italian rosehip extracts in the mix, so I figure this tub of Monet qualifies for ThuRoseday. The fragrance really is beautiful: a sweet but not cloying floral with light aquatic notes. However, the lather is on the light side; so this soap is better suited for an occasional treat rather than for daily use.

Presuming you bought that off the latest drop, what is your description and perspective on the scent?
Bright, crisp lemony citrus. Very natural smelling. Not synthetic at all.

Was hoping to read that

Same shave as yesterday less the weepers.  Still don’t know what I did yesterday morning but this morning I didn’t even open the weepers of yesterday.  Smoooooth.

Soap has a history of great performance. Shave felt smooth and familiar.  And I had to break out the alum!  Odd, but man I love 5he scent of Santal Auster.  Might have to do it again tomorrow.

I love the look of the Rocca but it always shaved like a hacksaw for me. There were several iterations, so not sure which I had or which you have.
Gen 4 Rocca and usually it’s a good one for me. It behaved this morning in fact.
