LPL Apricot
My first Rose puck was PLP Pushkhar. Great disappointment - both scent and performance. So tried LPL again, several scents.. It is French right, has to be good? Never could get a good lather. I love the scent on this one so kept it - giant puck as well. Used a lot of preshave junk and survived. Much like Lip's shave today though - pretty rough. This soap's performance sucks.
C U all tomorrow

The Rocca is a blade-feel heavy razor but this is an experience clear out of the norm. Prep was normal. Soap has a history of great performance. Shave felt smooth and familiar. And I had to break out the alum! Odd, but man I love 5he scent of Santal Auster. Might have to do it again tomorrow.I love the look of the Rocca but it always shaved like a hacksaw for me. There were several iterations, so not sure which I had or which you have.
Charge (Grooming Dept) hashish

Mrs Bouki comes home for lunch, opens the front door, and says, “Whoa, what’s that weird smell? Are you burning some funky Tibetan incense.” “No, sweetness,” I reply, “It’s just my shaving soap drying on my desk.” “Smells like the basement back room in a head shop.” “Oh … should I save Charge for when you’re away?” “Yup, that might be a good plan. I could smell it out in the driveway.”
Incredible lather, a gorgeous finish, and a scent that’s strong enough to get the neighbors wondering what’s going on in Boukiville.
