All gone...and I'm about 99.4% certain the soap was Mike's Orange, Cedarwood & Black Pepper.

Clay Face

Felce Aromatica (Saponificio Varesino) easy green
Shave 18 ・ 119 g left

Somehow I allowed two years to pass without using this exceptional soap, one of the pitfalls of a bloated hoard. Treasures like Felce Aromatica get lost in the clutter and are unintentionally overlooked. Despite being entirely vegan, it boasts a lather comparable to tallow-based soaps, providing ample slip and cushion. The scent, while not strictly a fougère, nevertheless smells of delightful green things with hints of fir and citrus. I thoroughly enjoyed the shave.

Head Shave
Razor: Vector
Blade: Schick P-30(4)
Brush: DG Battery B16
Software: B&M Hallows

Man, it's crazy how the Hallows scent evolves with each piece of the set. The final scent is warm, masculine, and woody. This B16 is just as soft and natural as my other ones.

I always felt it should have been Felce Acquatica.
EDIT: I say that because "aromatic" makes me think of herbs.
For me, this scent is aquatic, not aromatic.
That said, I haven't smelled it in a long time, so maybe I'd feel different now.

Tobacco Tuesday ...

Inspired by Bouki, I grabbed my Mandarino Fumo tonight - one of my favorite scents.  The EDP is not for the unattentive - a cursory whiff will not do it justice - and perhaps it is not for the faint of heart either.  But IMO it is definitely an unapologetically male scent, like a smoke filled room, but IMO beautiful and distinctive, and in a masterful feat of olfactory legerdemain, without anything fetid or stale either.  If nothing else, it is definitely right for your Tuesday night poker game, or most any sporting event.  Sunday tea with grandma?  Maybe not so much.
