Mousse Illuminée (Zingari Man) wormwood fougère

Manuel Cross of Rogue Perfumery created the fragrance for Mousse Illuminée. It’s an unusual fougère in that it omits the lavender. Instead, it features a rich assortment of green and resinous notes such as moss, incense, cypress, artemisia, laurel, cedar, white flowers, and musk. A sniff is meant to transport us to a dreamy forest radiant with sun-speckled moss. Fans of Polo Green will feel right at home in Mousse Illuminée. But they may notice one small difference: a twist of light floral notes takes the place of Polo’s tobacco.
