T+S Orangeilla……one of the older tubs in my stash… base is showing its age…there’s been so many base improvements by artisans…but the scent is fantastic!

This was yesterday's shave, and it was my first rodeo with Kentucky Rain.  IMO Kentucky Rain deserves every bit of buzz it has generated.  The soap and aftershave do their jobs very nicely, and the scent is both beguilingly delightful and very clearly present throughout the shave.

First off, great job on the scent Frank Dragonsbeard !  I'll be the first to admit a little apprehension whether the scent would be to my liking. Turns out, it's a winner in my book and more in my wheelhouse than imagined.

Only one use in, and yep...the base is also stellar. I probably loaded my brush less than half the time as I normally would, and still had tons of delightful smelling lather. It's super easy to dial in, too.

The post is also great. My face feels clean and moisturized, but not overly so. No greasiness...just clean. Well done Frank! This won't be my last Ethos soap.

Thank you sir and I’m glad you enjoyed the Aroma and performance.  Honestly I wasn’t to sure on the Honeysuckle when TommyCarioca and Nero  politely asked me to make the Honeysuckle but I’m now onboard the scent.  Sometimes the customers know best. I’m learning to listen. Lol

Oh and welcome to the family.

Frank

Thank you, Frank!
The honeysuckle purchase was directly fueled by Tommy, as my scent preferences align very well with his. When Tommy likes a particular scent, I pay attention. So, thanks goes to him (and Nero) for goading you to make it, and thank you for following through!

Lavender Suprême (Ethos) stout lavender
Shave 4 ・ 169 g left

With its rich floral top note, rosemary-like greenness, and dry earthy base, this smells like Provence in early summer. I find it both soothing and invigorating. For an afternoon shave, it eases me into a quiet night at home. But in the morning, I take a sniff and I'm ready to climb Mount Ventoux. When it comes to lavender, it’s hard to beat Lavender Suprême.
