The mornings are cool, the crab apple trees are losing there leaves, and the black walnuts are starting to purge and abort their poor nuts. I love the magnolia - my three trees [big leaf, umbrella and cucumber] have produced a lot of fruit/seeds.  This puck [GD's first version]  is a great rendition of the flower.

I will miss the summer.

Oh brother, me too.  I do enjoy all the seasons but this summer seemed way too short.

Seaforth! Sea Ice Lime (Spearhead) aquatic citrus

It’s hot and I’m looking for something cool. Wouldn’t you know, I don’t have any of Stirling’s super mentholated soaps on hand. Every time I buy a puck, a friend or member of the family snags it. Luckily, I’ve got this Sea Ice Lime to fall back on. It’s not as chilly as Stirling’s glacial offerings, but the scent is clean and bright and cool.
