Fougère, bol en frêne (Martin de Candre) fougère Friday
Shave 8 ・ 217 g left
Great pick, TommyCarioca!
Looks like I’m averaging 0.7 grams of Martin de Candre soap per shave. What does that mean? I should get well over three hundred shaves out of this brain bowl. Shall we see if I can make it last a year? These last three shaves with Fougère have been perfect. I’m trying to come up with a good argument to switch to something else, but so far nothing persuasive has come to mind.

I have been holding the bowl and dipping the brain portion of it into the water filled sink, and rubbing the brain portion on my mug like a shave stick. And then... the brush to my face. Works great.
