What soap/cream did you use today?

The brush was too soggy when I first started loading and the lather ended up with a lot more bubbles than I would like.  But the scent was still amazing!  This one has been discontinued but, thankfully, i have a backup set ready to go

Nice set, right there! I had a sample of that scent, and I'm a dum dum for not grabbing the full sizes before it got the axe. Solid soap base, too. Have you tried the Julien base, and if so, how is it?

I haven't tried the Julien base yet.  I saw TRC had Cremoso in stock but I'm not a big fan of coconut-scented soaps.  With any luck, he'll do a limited run of Amber, Patchouli, Oak in the new base

All of his offerings have been switched over to the Julien base now. The Cremoso is tempting, yet I have a pile of soap that needs to be worked on and a few killed off. If he brings back the APO, I'd certainly snag a set (or two). Not gonna hold my breath, though.

One last shave with Oaken Lab Far Afield.  The scent is well blended and smells very nice and the base is fantastic.  But I doubt this one will be in the den again as I have several other Oaken Lab scents that I find much more appealing
