The brush was too soggy when I first started loading and the lather ended up with a lot more bubbles than I would like.  But the scent was still amazing!  This one has been discontinued but, thankfully, i have a backup set ready to go

Nice set, right there! I had a sample of that scent, and I'm a dum dum for not grabbing the full sizes before it got the axe. Solid soap base, too. Have you tried the Julien base, and if so, how is it?

Clay Face
Honolulu, Hawaii
Lavender (D.R. Harris) pale lavender
Shave 2 ・ 120 g left

This makes a lather with high, stiff peaks, and it’s fairly light. I like to build my lather on my south paw, and if I get too vigorous, great globs of foam will fly off the bristles and coat the walls and mirror. Moderation here, as in all things, is the answer. Some easy agitation and a few drops of water lead to a very effective cream that keeps the blade at bay and yet still allows for a close shave. Dense and glossy this lather will never be, but in spite of its high structure, it works so well for me, I hesitate to put it down.

Mash up…literally….of Ethos Peppermint v1 and Lavender Suprême v1. Proportion of 1:3 seems about right….

I haven't tried the Julien base yet.  I saw TRC had Cremoso in stock but I'm not a big fan of coconut-scented soaps.  With any luck, he'll do a limited run of Amber, Patchouli, Oak in the new base Smile
