Buttero (Abbate y La Mantia) cedar & leather

Wednesday is for woody scents, and there’s enough cedar in this soap to give it a lumberjacky sort of feel. But the dominant note in this fragrance is leather. When the leather mixes with the cedar, Buttero smells like a saddle that’s spent the winter hanging in the barn. It’s not a particularly clean smell, but it brings back good memories.
