I don’t think I’ve fully let go of my internal anger with regard to the Nuavia Ceramic Container.  Offer it as an option, allow the customer to decide his/her shipping costs.

Despite my “not letting go” NUAVIA is one of the soaps I would consider Luxury, It never underperforms! I love all 4 scents with GREEN being my favourite. Anything FOUGÈRE gets my attention!
I love the pots too Robby! Nice wide loading area. I need the black jar to complete the grand slam!

Crema da Barba calls itself a cream, but in reality, it’s a croap. It’s fairly firm, and I load from it in the same manner as any other shaving soap, using about 120 swirls with a soft synthetic brush to create ample lather for three comfortable passes. To enhance the natural coolness of the menthol and camphor, I add a few drops of Koolada in the summertime. The lightweight Vector Ti is the perfect tool for navigating the slick yet slightly thin lather. The end result is an exceptionally smooth but light finish that’s not in the least bit clingy, making this a good soap for a hot and sticky day. However, since the ingredients are not listed on the jar, I can only guess that allantoin may be responsible for this satisfying outcome.

Thanks, HighSpeed, for confirming my suspicions. I hope you're enjoying the soap. It's one of my summertime favorites.

Most know I'm not big on shave creams although I have a few vintage I use occassionally. I was pif'd the Ethos Ravello by dtownvino and so glad to try it. The scent is a fresh and clean scent described as fig forward. Being a Barbarian and my only comparison being Fig Newtons I just got a nice pleasant fresh clean scent. Knowing Frank, I'm sure there's some exotic fig from abroad scent in there for the more distinguished. Being predominantly a face latherer I smeared a generous portion on my face to lather up and got an easy lather and the scent really opened up in strength as compared to the sample jar. Great shave and was nice to try but I'll stick with the F Base soap and hope Frank doesn't mess any more with it Big Grin Have a great day Everyone !

Good Morning Dave

I know your not big on Creams but I’m glad you enjoyed the scent. As you know there are just some scents that I know would probably get lost in the Shave Soap making process being exposed to high temps. With that said I’m eliminating the S Base at least for now and I’ve finally got the F Base where I want it so no changes my friend.

Have a good one!

I know you seek perfection Frank and the F is there at least for me. Good to know and hope you have a great day!
