1st use of this maker as far as I can remember and it's a great base but I feel overpriced by comparison to others unless maybe you find a scent that you love. That's just MY opinion as I know many love this brand. It's not a knock. That said I was happy to try one gotten from the BST. Unfortunately I had a slight burning feeling on the 1st pass and grew with each of the 3 passes. The scent is descripbed as:
The Scent Gredos:
A delectable gourmand creation where a dash of dark bourbon combines with rich fruity nuances. Hints of salted caramel, vanilla essence and sweet buttercream bring this fragrance to a close.
Honestly all I get is the gourmand fruity notes, nothing nuance or subtle about it. No bourbon for me, carmel or vanilla but everyones olfactory is different and this may be perfect for you. Again, I was glad to try a soap from the maker to scratch the itch caused when you see so many using a brand you haven't tried yet but this will be moved on perhaps to a local friend to try. Still loving th shaves from the Vector and zero anticipation of that changing. Hope all have a great day !

Crema da Barba calls itself a cream, but in reality, it’s a croap. It’s fairly firm, and I load from it in the same manner as any other shaving soap, using about 120 swirls with a soft synthetic brush to create ample lather for three comfortable passes. To enhance the natural coolness of the menthol and camphor, I add a few drops of Koolada in the summertime. The lightweight Vector Ti is the perfect tool for navigating the slick yet slightly thin lather. The end result is an exceptionally smooth but light finish that’s not in the least bit clingy, making this a good soap for a hot and sticky day. However, since the ingredients are not listed on the jar, I can only guess that allantoin may be responsible for this satisfying outcome.
