Batavia Barber (Oaken Lab) neroli, leather & immortelle
Shave 3 ・ 108 g left
This particular pot has aged for six months, and during this time, the neroli scent has gradually faded, while the immortelle and leather notes have become more prominent. Surprisingly, the fragrance has actually improved since I first acquired it. Initially, it may have been a touch too sweet, but now, thanks to the curry-like earthiness contributed by the immortelle and a slight whiff of camphor, it has gained depth and interest. It’s truly a pleasant and captivating scent.

Despite my “not letting go” NUAVIA is one of the soaps I would consider Luxury, It never underperforms! I love all 4 scents with GREEN being my favourite. Anything FOUGÈRE gets my attention!

1st use of this maker as far as I can remember and it's a great base but I feel overpriced by comparison to others unless maybe you find a scent that you love. That's just MY opinion as I know many love this brand. It's not a knock. That said I was happy to try one gotten from the BST. Unfortunately I had a slight burning feeling on the 1st pass and grew with each of the 3 passes. The scent is descripbed as:
The Scent Gredos:
A delectable gourmand creation where a dash of dark bourbon combines with rich fruity nuances. Hints of salted caramel, vanilla essence and sweet buttercream bring this fragrance to a close.
Honestly all I get is the gourmand fruity notes, nothing nuance or subtle about it. No bourbon for me, carmel or vanilla but everyones olfactory is different and this may be perfect for you. Again, I was glad to try a soap from the maker to scratch the itch caused when you see so many using a brand you haven't tried yet but this will be moved on perhaps to a local friend to try. Still loving th shaves from the Vector and zero anticipation of that changing. Hope all have a great day !
