Such a weird weather pattern here in Idaho.  We should be into significantly high temps and drier weather. My tomatoes, which already struggle in my short, frost free season, don’t know what to do!  So being the high was to be 63 and rain, and the river temp was projected 53 degrees, it made sense to get aboard a raft and go run some whitewater.   Beautiful day for a cameraman with the diffused light but pretty brutal for my bride who chose to go without neoprene or even a splash jacket.  She was shivering long before we reached half way on our scheduled 9 mile float.  She made it but I’m guessing she’ll watch the weather and break out the neoprene next time.  Poor kid.
I didn’t shave yesterday so today I was a hobo.  Floris Elite got the nod and it was a great choice.

Terrible pics, but had a bear in the backyard last night.

Beautiful wildflowers on the trail-run/hike yesterday. Never seen so many cactus blossoms at once, usually the animals eat them immediately.

Bears have been showing up more and more in yards here and in town around here also.
Same here. I even got a picture the other day.

I suspect when the regular season starts, they'll all migrate back to Chicago. [Image: 2b1e4aad52cf9965d9afcc1c26755d54.jpg]

Face Shave
Razor: 9/8 Max Sprecher Near Wedge Dark Angel Wing Scales
Brush: Declaration Grooming Cold 2.0 B16
Soap: Zingari Man No. 1

Straight Razor shave number six went well!! Decided to try this banger from ZM with a straight. I'm not sure if it's my favorite rose scent but it's up there. Really wish it could come back as a staple offering.
I think over the next few days I'll use POMP, Two Kings, & Lyssa to see which rose is the Queen.

Head Shave
Razor: Blackland Vector
Blade: Schick Proline P30 (9)
Brush: Turn N Shave Galaxy M6
Soap: Barrister & Mann Petrichor

Petrichor is a B&M favorite of mine!! U finally have the trifecta and some backups.
The second use for this M6 brush and I'm loving it. Milton has some Voodo brush-making skills. Today this blade finally felt harsh and it's the last use for it.

Razor: Karve Overlander
Blade: Astra SP (2)
Brush: Turn N Shave Galaxy H5
Soap: Grooming Dept POMP

Today’s Beautiful Rose scent was POMP. It's stronger than ZM No. 1. But it's a different rose to my nose. No. 1 is a beautiful perfume rose whereas POMP is a straight gut-punch rose in a good way.

Another killer Galaxy pour by Milton. The knot is exceptional and it's a big boy at 29mm.
