Terrible pics, but had a bear in the backyard last night.



Beautiful wildflowers on the trail-run/hike yesterday. Never seen so many cactus blossoms at once, usually the animals eat them immediately.

With each shave, this bowl of soap grows a little heavier. I think that little French elves are creeping into my shack at night to top it off. No complaints. A perpetual tub of soap is miraculous, and I like living in a world without answers to every question. Leaves plenty of room for awe.

Bears have been showing up more and more in yards here and in town around here also.
