Razor: 9/8 Max Sprecher Near Wedge Dark Angel Wing Scales
Brush: Maritime Brush Co w/Mozingo 24mm ZT4
Soap: Grooming Dept English Lavender

Fourth SR shave and this one went very well with GD's exceptional base. ZT4 is incredible hair and overall a fantastic knot. I'm glad I decided to get two more 28mm ZT4s.

Just Here for the Shaves

Razor: Asylum Injector Razor
Blade: Schick
Brush: Trotter "Kickflip"/Synthetic
Soap: Sir Henry's Kentucky Rain
AS 1: Witch Hazel
AS 2: Small Batch Shave Tonic
Fragrance:
Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 1,680

So after 2 shaves that were less than satisfying with the Rx Injector Razor using the Schick Krona Stainless blades I swapped out for another Schick Blade (I have the B20's but seldom care for them). Not sure which Schick it is but it's in the pic. I don't know if they are vintage or modern ones. I think it may be similar to the Yellow pack but it's a 15 cartridge instead of a 7 and I forget how I came by them. All that aside, I finally got a shave I was hoping for from this razor. I immediately felt like the blade was sharper on the 1st strokes and by the 2nd pass I could tell as I usually can that I was getting a good shave. It is a milder Injector Razor for sure and I still think the Type "O" would beat it out but with some effort and a sharp blade this Modern Injector has the goods........at least for this shave, to keep it around and enjoy it. So glad I could join the "cool kids" table finally  Big Grin Everyone have a great day !

Cold River Soap Works "Citrus", and now I'm down to a lump (which rattles around in the tin) just big enough for one more shave.

It's part of my plan to set aside some soaps that are near the end, pick one of them, and alternate between it and whatever other soap is next in my alphabetical rotation. When it runs out, pick another nearly-done soap to alternate with.
My goal is to free up some room in my soaps bin faster than by simply sticking to the alphabetical rotation.

I decided to bowl lather this today and was rewarded with the juniper scent popping out right off the bat.  I'm also finding out how thirsty this soap is.  I scooped out what I thought would be enough and started swirling my brush around and around and around.  Nothing, not even any proto bubbles.  Did I use enough soap?  Well I never go back to the tub for more soap so I just make due.  I start adding a bit of water, then a bit more and then here comes the lather.  Really nice lather too.  Low structure, shiny and slick.

Edit: Oh, I forgot to mention another thing about this soap.  It's suppose to have a cognac accord at the finish. Yesterday that scent was a no-show.  Today it showed up when I was rinsing the lather from my brush.  Caught me off-guard with that since most soaps have given all they could with their scent once the lather is built.
