How do you like the scent?  Is the Juniper front and center?  I'm a big fan of juniper scents and this one was "in the cart" for awhile but I never ended up making the purchase

No shave yesterday but I did weigh the Far Afield...the badger only loaded 2 grams Sad  I'll hit it with the 30mm cashmere next time i use it.  As much as I want to finish Far Afield, my Top of the Chain order arrive (2 Los Jabones & a MacDuff's).  The scent on Charmer was too great to pass up on this morning's shave...

According to GN it's suppose to have a bright lemon and juniper scent top notes.  I think it smells closer to bergamot than lemon with the juniper in the background.  I was actually hoping the juniper was a bit stronger.  It has a slightly sweet scent sort of on the same lines as ETHOS Succès.  It's suppose to have a cognac accord finish, but I didn't smell that one at all.  This is just my first outing with this soap so we'll have to see if I end up picking up additional scents.

Shannon’s makes great soap and Haymarket Vetiver is a good representation of the best parts of Vetiver.  This really is gritty and dirty with enough citrus to take the bite off and enough oakmoss to round off the corners.  Yes I like it.

And my bride wanted to get away in our refurbished 1959 Westerner Trailer so I hitched up after work and drove to Alpine and a camp spot we like.  Still had three hours of light and she said she wanted to see a grizz with cubs so we grabbed a bite in Jackson and headed into Grand Teton National to find her a bear.  Man I’m a good husband!  Momma and three two year old cubs.  Even watched her nail a fish!  Good job momma!
