Agrumes 50g (Martin de Candre) mild lemon
Shave 14 ・ 42 g left
After five straight shaves with Spitfire, I’m ready for a change. When you get so used to your soap’s fragrance that you can’t really smell it any more, it’s time to rotate. And the weather is clear, bright, and beautiful. I need a soap to match the season. Something light and bright is called for. Agrumes in its tiny 50 gram jar is my thinnest citrus soap, so it gets the nod. The lather is great, but there’s not much to smell here – maybe just some airy lemon and a whiff of grapefruit. I’ll boost it with a spritz or two of cologne to make the shave worthwhile.
