I'm finally getting back to finishing this soap off.  It measured at 59.65 gr prior to loading.  Hopefully it's under 55 gr once it's dried out overnight.

BTW, first use of the Heliopteris.  Love Maol's splashes but this scent just doesn't sit well with me.  It smells more like a mix of lemongrass and lavender to my nose.  This one is likely to end up on the BST

Switching to a very mild blade has nearly eliminated my serious irritations. Two blades in particular, the Feather Pro Soft Guard and the Derby Extra (which I once considered too namby-pamby for a proper he-manly shave), have proved to be my best friends. The Soft Guard gave me fifteen three-pass shaves before it showed signs of dulling, while the Derby Extra just went fourteen passes – seven straight days – before it started to rust. In fact, if it hadn’t been for the corrosion, I could have coaxed a few more days out of it. And today’s soap, Royal Fougère, makes a gorgeous shiny lather, as long as I remember to drench it. It’s very kind to these soft-hearted blades, and together they’ve made for some stellar shaves.

Splendid shave today!  First go with the Rosa, and topped it off with Dior Homme Parfum (not shown).

That reads wonderfully. Nearly always cooking Asian. Does it dry clean or leave a film residue?
