Royal Fougère (Asylum) English Fern
Shave 30 ・ 46% left

Royal Fougère closely resembles Penhaligon’s English Fern, often considered one of the founding fathers of the aromatic fougère tribe. English Fern was introduced in 1890 with a minimalist approach, incorporating only the essential elements of the fougère family: lavender, geranium, coumarin, and oakmoss. In Asylum's Royal Fougère, I detect mostly these core elements, with a delightful hint of dried mint. It’s a beautiful and green scent that perfectly captures the essence of summer.

This soap was very likely made by WSP for Asylum. I don’t believe it’s currently available. A pity, since off all the Asylum soaps I’ve tried, this one smells the best. And it looks like Pen's English Fern is no longer available either. Now where’s an old man to turn when he wants to smell like an old man?

Lol. Right? According to SWMBO, that can be filled by Pinaud Clubman. I have the talc all over my den, and she gets . Pleads me to get rid of the old man scent. So I just add some to my slippers.
