This mornings choice was HC&C Emperor Oud and it’s a good one.  Hoosier told me I’d get great ropey, shiny lather and  he is correct.  I’ve no idea why he let this one go.  I used a hot little Lupo .95 which really likes protective soap and this one did that and more.  Scent is mid strong which is a fine place to sit.  I’m no Oud expert but this one smells quite nice and not at all raw or rough lik3 some descriptions of Oud report.

And the good finches on my front door are about a week away from flying.  I’ll get my door back without being a killer!

You guys ever get a puck that makes you curious and you just keep sniffing the jar - but you can't ascertain WTH you are doing it? This stuff is driving me mad cause I can't pull the notes out - not sure what the blend is doing to my brain, but I like it.

Bouki master would unravel this - help me master . I love this one.

Rose and incense from my memory, Tommy.
Hate that (and all) tiny jar(s) though.
NEROLI - that would 'splain it. Rose.

You mean "rose".
Actually, it was African geranium, anyway.

Clay Face

Strong ’n Scottish (Meißner Tremonia) smoky whisky
Shave 14 ・ 94% left

A pseudo-Scottish shave today: the soap was made in Germany, the Argyll handle comes from Edmonton, Alberta, while the smoke is due to a heaping helping of Mediterranean cade tar and Himalayan cedar. Disappointed? Not me! This soap still offers an authentic Scottish experience. After all, what honest shaver wouldn’t want to start his day smelling like a brace of kippers?

Any good? Does it smell anything like Arko or Derby soap sticks?
