Yesterday’s shave with Ethos Rosa was so enchanting, I had no choice but to reach for this soap again. My brush, dangling from the ceiling to dry in the sea breeze, filled the room all day with the heady scent of damask rose, intoxicating my senses until nothing but this fragrant bouquet seemed fitting. "Scatter roses everywhere, disdainful of stingy hands," our flop-eared poet Horace proclaimed two millennia ago. Aye, he was inspired, and inspiring. I opened my new jar of Rosas and wonderful rich notes, both verdant and woody, made me feel as if I were a guest at the feast of Heliogabulus, smothered by a curtain of drooping petals. Indeed, in this season of bounteous blooms, why hold back?

Thanks Paul, I was already fighting the urge to get that one........It's a scent based on the Kentucky Mule Cocktail which is a play on the Moscow Mule Cocktail......

The other day TRC reported some New Arrivals including PAA Son of Honeysuckle.  I dropped it in the cart but then started questioning whether I really wanted it.  About that time, TommyCarioca posted about the original Honeysuckle.  His description/post was so good that I had to put the soap back into the cart.  And I am so freakin' happy I did!  What a fantastic scent...pretty certain the matching splash will find its way to the Hoosier State in the near future! 

Yes sir, that is a great scent and base. I am curious now how son of compared with my vintage version. Lol. Daaangit
