Aquatic, not far off Cool Water by Davidoff, but with more shoreline.

"Caswell-Massey introduced Newport in 1890, named for the Rhode Island resort destination where the company was founded in 1752. America's first "seaside" cologne is known as an uncompromisingly refined, aristocratic, and elegant men's fragrance that remains distinctly American."

In France till early July and the only soap I brought….. after considerable deliberation….
My last full tub of Ethos Colonia in the F base.
Why? it has a fantastic, highly refreshing and well constructed/balanced scent that never gets old and offers incredible performance to boot.

You're welcome buddy!  And i'm really thankful that LPL has found a good home.  You're right, that scent has nothing to do with lilacs.  To me, it was more akin to the dirt that the lilacs were growing in Smile

BTW, once you try the HC&C, you should get that glossy-goodness lather

This is a super nice cream, classy scent.  This has stayed absolutely moist and soft [7 tears old]!

I admit freely I am a Cedarwood nut. Glass jar makes it a black tie shave.

I also have a jar of this that is about the same age and was wondering just the other day if it would still be good to use. Thanks for posting and it is a killer scent!
