Clay Face
Honolulu, Hawaii
Verbena Toscana (Abbate y La Mantia) soapy verbena
Shave 2 ・ 103% left

This very hard soap grows heavier with each use. I bloom it, so it must soak up lots of water, which it holds for weeks on end. I also add some coolant to the lather, as the weather is starting to feel warm in these parts. Four drops of Koolada (WS-23) keeps things fresh for ten to fifteen minutes after the last pass.

This Feather Professional Soft Guard blade is on day 15, and it doesn’t feel much different from how it felt on day 1. It’s always been tuggy, but at the same time, it’s always given a very close, generally harmless shave. I winced when I saw that a pack of fifteen blades cost nearly twenty dollars. But if I can get a couple dozen shaves from each blade, then one pack will last an entire year. Not a bad bargain.

And the mailman says a box from Ethos Grooming Essentials will arrive this afternoon. It's going to be a good day.

Does mumtaz not smell like Aether? I find both the scents similar with an overwhelming ginger note.

Im not sure what Aether is but yes heavy ginger type note that I think is meant to come off as a rare citrus bomb.  But it doesnt take too long for it to mellow out I found, and the base notes to come through.  Its a nice uplifting type of scent I think.  Although some of the scents he listed dont come through for me at all like leather, iris or vetiver.

St. James Cedarwood & Clary Sage

This is a super nice cream, classy scent. This has stayed absolutely moist and soft [7 tears old]!

I admit freely I am a Cedarwood nut. Glass jar makes it a black tie shave.
