Danny, I think an expert is a stretch fo sho.... I hope you are saying that tongue firmly planted in cheek.

But I will say, the Wholly Kaw Fougère scents are my favorites with La Aventurra [#1] - favored over MdC, LJdJ, and B&M.

This one is special - and you know there base is Top Tier. Wet shavedom golden age!

Isacco (Abbate y La Mantia) apple orchard
Shave 1 ・ 98% left

Apple fragrances have always set my skin alight, leaving me with little choice but to steer clear of them. But still, I had a strong yearning to collect a full set of Abbate y La Mantia’s soaps. So even when I saw that Isacco was infused with apple juice, I crossed my fingers and placed my order. My expectations were low, yet to my delight, this particular apple-scented fragrance proved to be an exception, and I got by without any irritation. In fact, this morning’s shave was nothing short of splendid, redolent not only of crisp Granny Smith apples, but also graced with a subtle undertone of freshly sliced figs.

These Abbate y La Mantia soaps are really impressive. The scents, especially the fruity offerings, are wonderfully authentic. And the lathers are nice, too, in a vegan way. They’re loaded with Shea butter, so they finish smooth. And now that I've learned to water them well, they give me a very slick lather. The only down side is that they’re best when they’re really fresh. So if you ever decide to get a tin, dig in right away and keep digging until you scrape bottom.

Is there a chance it's cinnamon in the apple scents as they seem to go together. Either way glad this one was good for you.
