This is a mentholated smoothie – banana, coconut, and mint (on an industrial scale). I can get something that smells sort of like this (sans the mint) at the shake shack down by the beach. To be sure, the combination of banana and coconut can be very appetizing, but I’m not sure how well it works as a cosmetic fragrance. Now that I think of it, it kind of reminds me of the fruity smelling hand degreaser I used to find next to the filthy sink at the neighborhood garage. I’ll say this, though, Don José smells bright and cheering, the label is fantastic, and I’ve got absolutely no qualms about the lather. It does its job well. Three painless passes and my cheeks are smoother than the back of my earlobe.
