Shave 2 ・ 97% left

After my three-pass shave yesterday with the Vector, there was very little stubble left to work with this morning. The razor is mild but still remarkably effective, leaving me with a clean shave that lasts for a couple of days without any trouble. However, I was determined to shave today as I am a latherhead and didn't want to break my streak of consecutive shaves. Crumiro provides the slickness I need to get close to the skin and remove those low-growing nubbins without doing any harm. Moreover, its scent is delightful, reminiscent of a Florentine bakery early in the morning when the biscotti are crisp and cooling on the racks.

It got to a balmy 67 degrees yesterday and feels like spring has sprung.  A House Finch couple has set up residence in a wreath on my front door so she too thinks spring is here.  She’s pretty flighty right now but the nest has 5 eggs in it now and I’d imagine she’ll start holding her ground more and get down right momma bear once the eggs hatch.  So spring!  Calls for some menthol, no?  Stirling Orange Chill did a remarkable job.

For mother's day, why not?

Another fine day so we did a bike ride, stopped off the path to enjoy the sounds of water.

After climbing back up the bank, there were two ladies looking anxiously up at the trees. One worriedly asked me "where are they?".
What do you mean?
"We just passed two people and they said there's a mama bear and her cubs somewhere in these trees"
Oh wow, we were just down in there at the rivers edge.
A couple minutes later, here they are... Right where I was about to bike through.

That brush looks gorgeous but also bet it's one of those that's even better in person!
You are right Bluegrass!
