I told Dragonsbeard Frank…… “You don’t change that Dragon on your self-named Classic.”  You leave the classics alone…

Will sent the LaVanille horse to the glue factory. I haven’t found the other animals yet, but when I do, I’ll report back here….

Seville (Barrister & Mann) classic barbershop
Shave 3 ・ 96% left

Boar, brass, and barbershop, the three Bs of an outstanding wet shave. When it comes to barbershop scents, I tend to favor those that are rich with patchouli. Seville serves that up by the shovelful. What a bounteous cornucopia of herbal delight this soap offers.

Over the last eight days I’ve gobbled up thirty grams of soap. That means I’m averaging about 3.8 grams per shave. Needless to say, my lathers have been gorgeous and copious. I can see now that this gross overloading will be a hard habit to break. But I won’t have to worry about overloader’s rehab for a while: I’ve still got enough soap to sustain this bold rate of consumption for then next fifteen years.

Wholly Kaw - Amber Bomba ( Creme Fraiche base ) - A new offering from WK. Used yesterday and today.  I just keep feeling my face. Smile  Needed to get more information on Creme Fraiche.  Sri at WK was very kind to reply to my inquiry:

"Creme Fraiche - is our newest  ingredient that makes the lather more creamy and improves the performance. It is the result of fermentation of fresh cream and we ferment it for 48 hours before it's ready to use. Fermentation produces lactic acid which is a good exfoliant for the skin. Plus we added Hops Extract, Omega 3, Omega 6 -- the same one that's used to make beer."

"Overall it improved slickness, creaminess and made it extra smooth for the blade to glide and cut hair"

Performance exceeds expectations on all levels, imo. The scent profile is wonderful. Wife agrees, one of the top two or three scents in the house.

Sometimes too quiet. We’d heard nothing from Sri for some time then just a few days ago several new Wholly Kaw products dropped on Top of The Chain. Good to see.

Sri efforts spent productively, not self promoting
