Day 2 with this and I really don't notice the pine tar scent that much.  It's not that the scent had diminished any, I think it's more that I've gotten accustomed to it.  No post shave products today so I can evaluate its skin conditioning qualities.  I'm going on several hours since I shaved and I'm liking the way my skin feels.

Rose is listed as a scent note, so we'll roll with it.

Wild Rose Cream (Cyril R. Salter) sweet rose
Shave 1 ・ 96% left

Here’s a wild rose whose sweet scent would delight even the most discerning of grandmothers. While this cream may appear a vivid shade of pink in the pot, the lather is the more delicate hue of a rose that has faded toward the end of the day. Today, the color pink is often regarded as a symbol of femininity, but this gender association has not always been so clear-cut. In times past, the color was deemed suitable for both boys and girls, and it was not until the Eisenhower administration, when First Lady Mamie began sporting pink suits and dresses, that the color quickly became associated with women’s fashion. The fragrance of roses has undergone a similar evolution, for it was once a popular scent among men, as evidenced by Penhaligon’s Hammam Bouquet (1872), one of the most rose-heavy colognes ever created for men. Nowadays, however, nearly all rose-scented products are marketed towards women, and I have to store my pot of Wild Rose on the top shelf of the den to keep it out of reach of the lady of the house.
