Hmmm... where Mike's Vetiver turns smoother and nuttier upon lathering, Salter turns into "Tire Shop". And for some reason, I like it! Nice shave too.

Last Tuesday I was griping that this soap was covered with orange splotches. I left it out on my desk a few days just to see what a little fresh air would do. It worked wonders. The stains are gone, and the soap is as white and wooly as sheepskin. Martin de Candre say the soap is intentionally left unsmoothed to maintain this texture, which complements the natural look of the turned ash wood bowl.
