Dark Limes (Meißner Tremonia ) lime & peel

Aye, DanLaw, if you're looking for a heart-pounding adventure without the burden of tedious character development, John Buchan’s The Thirty-Nine Steps is a fine thriller, well worth cracking open when you’ve got only a few hours to read. It’s a ripping good read, brimming with action and intrigue. I was thoroughly enthralled by every page, and my only lament is that it was over all too quickly.

Now, as for my current olfactory indulgence, there’s nothing quite like the pungent citric delight of Meißner Tremonia’s Dark Limes soap. I have hoarded a staggering 250 grams of this gem, more than any other soap in my collection. Its lather is as effortless as it is luscious – a few swirls of the brush and you’ve got a curiously light but protective lather, just the thing for a shave with an aluminum razor. This morning, I reached for it without a second thought, oblivious to which tome might best accompany it. It hardly matters, as this soap will outlast any novel I might choose to delve in to.
