Windsor (D.R. Harris) vetiver cologne

The thought of staying with this bowl of Windsor, day after day until the final shred, is daunting. So, I’ve settled on a more leisurely approach to its consumption – a week here, a few days there, perhaps a whole month from time to time will be dedicated solely to this soap.
I've found that a gimmick helps me stick with one soap over a long spell. In the past, pairing a soap with a book I'm reading has worked out fairly well. So once again I’m off on a soap-of-the-book adventure. This time the book will be the Æneid, the epic poem of ancient Rome. It consists of twelve intricately woven chapters. After a couple days reading I’m wedged firmly in the third. At that rate you’d think finishing it within a fortnight would be a breeze. Alas, there’s a catch: the entire tome is written in Latin, so it will take some time to sort it all out. That's why I’m giving myself a month to wade through its dense pages. With a spot of luck, I hope to conclude this odyssey by sunrise on May Day.

Another Bouki-master reminder to bring out the PdP. The scent on this is outstanding as we all know-a twin to Viktor and Rolf's Spice bomb. I usually use this for early fall football games or cool spring baseball games. Now that I am done with both as a spectator, need to get another rotational excuse. This is a hard puck. I admit to giving it a good hot bloom before loading in that small tin they provide. I agree with Lipripper on building a lather on the puck outside of the container. I seem to get a better load. And then I can use the protolather on the face as a Pre-shave, as well as use the puck as a shave stick. I did both today. Voluminous face batter.
And B-master is right. I almost never nick or get sensitive skin post shave but I did today, may not be a protective lather. Hmmmm, cushion may be wanting on this, but it was slick and smelled so good I need to be careful on next usage.
C U all tomorrow
