The base contains olive oil, which in my experience typically leads to a thin and fleeting lather. However, with Fitjar Islands’ soap, this is not the case. Fjellheim’s lather is both rich and stable thanks to the high level of stearic acid and palm oil. Although the olive oil is saponified, its primary function seems to be that of an emollient, giving the lather a smooth, silken texture unusual for a soap made entirely of vegetable sources.

Forgot to take a picture from my morning shave with the DG POTS B9A+. So combined my SOTD & SOTN post. Used the TNS L4 for my head shave and it was perfect!

This tub will be killed in the next few days.

last week I used B&M Leviathan omnibus, Ethos Dragonsbeard v2 soft soap, and the early L&L grooming/Chantillion Lux Champs de Lavande bison tallow shave soap

today I used the omnibus release of B&M Fougere Classique soft soap, lots of these are lathered using different synthetic brushes
