Just Here for the Shaves
Williamsburg, KY
Monday March 6, 2023
Razor: Vintage Shake Sharp
Blade: Wizamet
Brush: Mr EE LE/Tuxedo
Soap: Ethos Vanilla Safi
AS 1: Witch Hazel
AS 2: Small Batch Shave Tonic
Fragrance:
Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 1,582

Things are looking up finally as swelling is decreasing as well as tenderness on the face although the nasal area is still sensitive. Nasal saline solution being administered as directed has helped the packing to disintegrate quicker and thus relieve the pressure somewhat. Tomorrow at 11 I go for the follow up and removal of all the rest of remaining packing and check stitches inside the nasal area. On top of hat at @5:30 yesterday evening the power was restored. All clocks were updated andthe world is right again..........for the present. A hot shave felt so good this morning and with light to see as a bonus. Have a great day everyone !

Good news all the way around, Dave! Glad to hear you're healing up. The recovery from that surgery isn't lots of fun (my wife went through it a couple of years back). And, your Mr EE brush has made an appearance...lit by electricity. Nice selection of gear today, sir.

Thank you Sir ! I had this done moderately @40 years ago when 19-20. They couldn't remove all they needed to as it would have left nothing (bone and cartilage ) to support my nose so I knew going in that it wouldn't be great. Fast forward with technology and improved methods and me no longer caring how I looked as much as wanting to be able to breath. Still of all surgeries I've experienced (@6 over the years) this was the most painful and uncomfortable. Gasping for air thru your mouth for the 1st week afterwards ain't fun. Glad it's fading into the rearview mirror. Your using your Mr EE reminded me it had been a while since using mine. I'm not crazy about this tuxedo knot in it and should change it so I will use it more often. Thanks for the nudge to get it out. You and your bride have a great day !
