Martin de Candre soaps boast of only a select few ingredients. Among them glycerine stands out as a true gem, possessing an uncanny ability to attract and retain moisture from the environment. This humble humectant turns the face into a sponge, particularly in humid climes where the skin quickly plumps up post-shave.
Yet glycerine’s charms extend far beyond its ability to soak up ambient water. It works wonders even in dry climates. By forming a protective barrier on the skin’s surface, it effectively curtails the rate of evaporation, thereby preventing the loss of vital moisture.
