Nicely selected straight lime. Nice surface prep for the SS Blackbird. But there's something about the Simpsons synthetic brushes, this time again was the Chubby 3 with Sovereign Fiber, that my face feels polished. I believe it's the density... most other synthetics are nowhere near as dense as the Simpsons.

Neroli, I am almost ashamed to admit-but I must, my most reached for brush is the Sovereign fiber Simpson. It makes a great lather and I to seem to get my best post shave face feel upon usage. They are great tools for the money. Really, a Merkur 34C, Simpson Sovereign Fiber, and some Stirling soap would be hard to best. And certainly, money wisely spent. Under 100 bucks for a great initiation to wet shaving.

Have no shame, Tommy... Good is good.
Did you order from them directly or from someone else?
My order took 4 weeks to be delivered (directly from them) and patience isn't my claim to fame Big Grin
Lol. I ordered from them as well. Yep. 5 weeks later, I almost forgot about them

Italian MdC.... Really reminds me of.... Softer puck but lather very similar. And oh my, the packaging is so over the top. Nice marzipan-cherry overtone-not overpowering though. [Image: 95b78cc5b9224ffc51ad356f309b1e09.jpg]

Clay Face
Honolulu, Hawaii
Vétyver série limitée (Martin de Candre) clean vetiver
Shave 26 ・ 91% left ・ Done by Nov. 1

The deeper you delve into this soap, the richer the aroma grows. It’s as if the essence of the vetiver bush has seeped and settled into the very bottom of the jar, beckoning you to keep loading until the roots are reached. But don’t succumb to the temptation to dig deep. A mere twenty-five swirls with a Trafalgar T2 is more than enough to create an ample, highly fragrant lather.

And TommyCarioca, I think I could live off bread and Coromandel for the rest of my life.
