Really nice stuff! What are the 3 new ingredients, Frank? Even better than the Blood Orange, noticeably... loading, lather, shave, and post.

Good morning Matt

Here’s a list of the new ingredients.

Ingredients

Aloe Vera Juice, Grass Fed Beef Tallow, Stearic Acid, Coconut Oil, Castor Oil, Potassium Hydroxide, Organic Vegetable Glycerin, Myristic Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Organic Shea Butter, Lemon Butter, Sheep Milk, Calabrian Bergamot Juice, Coconut Milk, Sodium Hydroxide, Ostrich Oil, Rosehip Oil, Essential Oils of Calabrian Bergamot, Sicilian Lemon, Ruby Red Grapefruit, Vetiver, Petitgrain, Bitter Orange, Ginger, Amyris, White Musk Accord, EOS Complex, Allantoin, Oat Amino Acids, Silk Amino Acids, Hyaluronic Acid Oil, Soy/Rice Peptides, Sorbitol, Organic Vitamin E Oil, Sodium Lactate, Xanthan Gum, Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol, Sorbic Acid, Capritolin (Natural Preservative) Calendula Extract, Aloe Vera Extract, Comfrey Extract, Milk Thistle Extract, Chamomile Extract

The 3 ingredients that really make a difference your noticing are The Hyaluronic Acid oil which is not even on the market yet that I was able to get from the ingredient company that invented it whim I’ve been working with for over 20 yrs now.

Ostrich oil which I sourced from an Ostrich farm so very fresh. Its the only FDA certified animal oil that’s Transdermal. Which means it doesn’t just work on the epidermal layer of the skin that grows much deeper into the dermis layer . It has 10 times more Omega Fatty acids of the next best natural oil.

The 3rd is Comfrey Leaf Extract which is known for its high content of both Allantoin and Rosmarinic acids which promotes new healthy skin cell growth, has strong  anti - aging, also anti- inflammatory properties which help heal irritation. It also helps with dark spots and fight acne.

There was some tweaking with some of the other ingredients to add to the overall performance.

I know that a lot of wet shavers prefer a soap over a creme but in the case of the Bergamotto and other delicate aroma compounds such as citrus Essential oils that can be greatly diminished by the high temperatures of the soap making process where’s with the Shave Creme I can add the Aroma ingredients at room temperature so therefore not damaging the integrity of the Aroma  ingredients and that relates more scent strength as well.

Hope that explains things my friend!

Enjoy your Sunday my friend!

Razor: La Faulx AC SE
Blade: Feather Pro SUPER
Brush: Trotter Black Locust/Oumo Badger
Soap: A&E NYC (1508.5 Project)
AS 1: Witch Hazel
AS 2: A&E NYC
Fragrance:
Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 1,560

2nd shave with the La Faulx and this time I chose to amp it up a little with a Feather Pro Super blade which is wider and gives a little more exposure. This helped with the efficiency for me but maintained the smoothness and comfort. I do get a little drag from it and I'm not sure if it's the extra length on the baseplate or the relationship of the head designed angle versus the angle the blade is held. Either way this produced a very comfortable shave with a good efficiency. Not as good for me as some in efficiency but more comfortable than thise choices too. Looking forward to tomorrows shave and will clean and mail it off to ALI hopefully Monday. Have a great day everyone !

Yes Neroli, the base is 25% better on all fronts.

Frank ground up some communists and blended it in the new base?
