This sensitive touted scents of line and apple.  Well either I can’t read or someone is asleep at the wheel at the Proraso factory because I get ….eucalyptus, and not lime or apple.  It’s actually very nice.  Great shave.  Very acceptable post.  It was dry but not like my experience with zingari and a small dab of Shea had me right as rain.  I am surprisingly satisfied with this cream and seem to need to try the tub now.  I went in expecting to be giggling about its performance failure but instead I’m smiling.  Old dogs……new tricks.

Wow. I agree, I wouldn't have placed apple or lime at all. It has been a while since I had this soap, but I believe I got something akin to a dandelion / grassy scent, with some sweetness and a bit of medicinal (kinda like eucalyptus, if they used it so so SO sparingly).

I had thought the oatmeal and green tea were the scents. It doesn't appear that way, from their site. I, too, apparently learned something old/new today. Lol.

Indian Sandalwood (Cyril R. Salter) spiced sandal
Shave 1 ・ 166 g left

Ah, this fragrance, with its blend of spicy, herbal, and woody scents, takes me back to the days of yore, when a bar of sandalwood soap-on-a-rope graced my stocking every Christmas morn. I loved that soap, and I did my best to make it last until Valentine's. It had a strong, good scent, though I doubt it had much genuine sandalwood oil. It lacked that luxurious, ethereal milky note that makes great Indian sandalwood what it is. But still, I enjoyed its earthy aroma, especially on a cold winter morning. It was a welcome change from the Dial we normally used. And now, with today's shaving cream, Indian Sandalwood by Cyril Salter, I can relive those memories once again. I may just have to stick with this tub for the pure pleasure of conjuring up the ghosts of grooming past.
