Mondo Monday

Stuff is very similar in performance to MdC. So fancy[packaging], not sure that an ole KY/TX boy should have access to it .

Oxford & Cambridge (Czech & Speake) minty lavender
Shave 20 ・ 69 g left

On paper at least, Oxford & Cambridge is an aromatic fougère, crafted from lavender, mint, rosemary, and bergamot. A touch of peppermint lifts the senses, yet still manages to preserve the overall serenity. The refreshing top notes are intertwined with a soft base of oakmoss, but this moss is so light and mellow, it's hardly sniffable. At the end of the day, it may be a stretch to call this a proper fougère. The fragrance was created in 1994 by John Stephen, who also worked on No. 88 and Cuba for Czech & Speake. Over the years it has changed very little. But unfortunately the old tallow soap base made by Valobra has been replaced by a tallow-less reformulation that cannot compare favorably with the original version.

Well, I am finally starting to get back into a groove as I was able to go back to work today.  A 3-pass shave with a little clean-up gave me a BBS that helped make it a good day

Really like that DG Chestnut St fragrance. Welcome back to the rat race. Feels good doesn't it.

Beautiful brush
Thanks!  It’s one my son made for me years ago.  He is Teton Shaves.

Razor: Masamune OC
Blade: Astra SP (2)
Brush: DG Illusive B14
Soap: Macduff’s Christmas Cabin

This is a banger scent and I love how creamy and slick the lather is. The B14 made it a luxurious shave.
