Besides it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here (and she’s just getting started).  Was informed today that we will be driving North to set up the tree in the cabin and move all the presents under the home tree with us.  The whole family will be in the lodge this year for the Holidays. 28 people for a week (perhaps two).  I may be working from the lake for a couple of weeks. (Oh, and those wee trees are leaving tonight to be centerpieces at a company party). She made them but hates them.

Any chance we may see an exteriour photo of the lodge in all its natural splendour?

Clay Face

Cologne Russe (Barrister & Mann) winter cologne
Shave 3 ・ 106 g left

“Whew, you smell like sweat!” Ouch. Once again my beloved didn’t mince words when expressing her opinion of my cologne. It’s clear that Knize Ten isn’t going to get much air play around her. That’s a pity since I like its heavy leathery note, which goes so well with Barrister & Mann’s Cologne Russe. I have to admit, though, I appreciate her frank estimation. We all grow comfortable within our own molecular cloud. A little fresh wind from time to time does us good, even if it ruffles some feathers while clearing the air.

Just Here for the Shaves
Williamsburg, KY
Thursday December 1, 2022
Razor: Lupo .95/Nodachi Handle
Blade: Euromax
Brush: Never Alone 2/Synthetic
Soap: Never Alone 2
AS 1: Witch Hazel
AS 2: Never Alone 2 Aftershave
Fragrance:
Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 1,487

Nice shave other than the burning sensation by the 3rd pass as well as during aftershave application. I want to keep this set but may need to let it go. The burning is gone within 5 minutes or so but just not caring for that affect after a shave. We all want the nice comfortable feeling of smoothness etc. If you are someone in the states that was wanting this soap & Splash but missed it....message me and we can work something out. Have a great day Everyone !
