What soap/cream did you use today?

Ah, holiday season is just awesome!  Thanksgiving is about the only holiday that Walmart hasn’t figured out how to commercialize and even with the heavy Santa influence is still a great time with family.  I’ve got a few soaps I use predominantly around this time of year.  Might have a few more but I’ll f9cus on these four.  Eigengrau, through the woods, Christmas Eve, and dickens.  

I used Eigengrau on Sunday and I do love the cold scent of this one.  Reminds me of early mornings in winter, when it’s still dark you and I’d go chip ice off of raft river for the livestock. Smells like moudlering frozen ground to me.  So good and so “outdoors”.

Today was Mickey Lee’s Through the Woods, a much sweeter “indoor” smell.  It smells more of moms kitchen than the willows along the river.  Very nice soap.

48 °F today?!?!  I think the high was a balmy 26 yesterday.  Time to break out the menthol...

Still a pleasant 81°F down in these parts, so I reached for something cool and refreshing. Indian Flavour has a pinch of menthol, and its lather has always worked well for me. Today's shave was close and comfortable, the exact opposite of yesterday's. This mild Feather razor seems to do better with a slick vegetal lather.
