I’m really having a good time rolling through my stack of Barrister & Mann soaps. The lathers are uniformly excellent, no matter the base. Most of the scents are fun, too. For affordable, reliable, effective shave soap, it’s hard to beat Barrister & Mann. I only wonder what would happen if they lost the plastic tubs and devised some sort of luxury presentation. Top quality soap in a top quality container.

My first time using the open comb was during this head shave. Wow, it's very efficient and smooth. I enjoy this scent and BOOM lather! The more I use the B9a the more I like it. I love the backbone and density of it while still being soft tips.

Been on the road for a week.  This morning was so nice being back in my own bathroom.  As my darn beard gets more grey only the sharpest blades shave well.  A week with Gillette Rubie shows it’s not going to travel with me any longer.  This morning with B&M Amazelnut was amazeling.  Over load?  You bet I did.  Big ol soft silvertip knot?  Of course.  Hazelnut, Vetiver, vanilla?  So good.  I swear I smell a coffee note but perhaps that’s the Vetiver.
